DORON LAMB - 10/23Lamb's curious recruiting saga brings him back into the Bluegrass this weekend. Earlier in the spring, it was hotly rumored that Doron Lamb would be the first commit of the 2010 class and that buzz continued through the summer and reached epic proportions around the time that Stacey Poole committed. Then the buzz on Lamb resurfaced in Kansas and Oklahoma and UK seemed out of the race. The buzz came back last week when it was announced that Lamb had three co-leaders (Oklahoma, Kansas, and Kentucky). Lamb visited "Late Night in the Phog" last Friday for Kansas and he is back in Lexington this weekend. He will be attended the "students only scrimmage" on Friday and then meeting with the team and Calipari this weekend.
The "Big 3" of Kentucky, Kansas, and Oklahoma may or may not become a big four schools for Lamb. It does appear that Lamb will be visiting Arizona shortly after he visits UK.
TERRENCE JONES - 10/27
There actually is some good news from the Terrence Jones camp today. Jones eliminated Kansas and Arizona from his list of schools and Jones now has a final five consisting of Kentucky, Oklahoma, Washington, UCLA, and Oregon. Jones will be in Lexington on the 27th for the Blue/White game. After the Lexington visit, Jones will be at Oregon on Halloween and UCLA on November 6. Jones will more than make his decision shortly thereafter.
UK was a very late entrant into the Jones sweepstakes but have obviously made up a lot of ground. There are some that say Jones may be Calipari's biggest target not named Brandon Knight and the Blue/White game should be a good showcase for him to attend.
