Looks like it. A couple of readers of Kentucky Sports Radio have sent in some pics of the new Wildcat's jersey that is showing up in sporting goods stores in the Lexington area. From all appearances, they look to be the real deal with the outline of Memorial Hall on the back along with the various years of the NCAA titles. They are eerily similar to what Duke and Texas have been wearing all season and I can't see Nike releasing them for sale if they are not a replica jersey. It does look like some stores have jumped the gun on selling them however.
To tell the truth, I thought the Kentucky jersey would be different from the other schools and it was rumored to be a "LeBron" type jersey and a match for the new shoes that were debuted last week. To that aspect, they are not ....
Still no official word as to whether these are the real unis or when they may debut. I was hoping for black unis against Tennessee but it appears that I am horribly wrong. Here are some more pics of the blue unis, which were also sent to KSR.
